2010

Fri Jan 1, 2010, 3:14 AM
Well, with 2009 passing us by, we're driven into a whole new year, and essentially a whole new decade.

Deviant Art is full of wonderful 2D and 3D art, both concept work, paintings, photography, and modeling. Few of which I am able to do anything of myself. Regardless of whether people here have spent weeks and months learning how to do such pieces, or whether they're simply born with a gift is beyond me. Their work can't be faulted.

Suffice to say, 2010, being a new year, brings new opportunities. As such, I'm hoping not only to advance what I'm capable of, but to also upload much more than I currently have (which, at this point, is only a couple of banners, made for forum use). I've a modification for the Star Trek Armada II game, which screenshots can be posted by, and in addition to that, photography, something I rarely have the opportunity to make worthwhile will be making more of a show.

I wouldn't mind getting into some serious 3D modeling too, but I wouldn't know where to even start with that. If anyone has any tips, by all means don't keep them to yourself. ;)

That'll be all.

Here's wishing everyone a pleasant 2010 too.

as per your reply to what star trek really needs The Kzinti are actually a creation of Larry Niven and not actually star trek at all. (Unless you count the animated trek [which i do btw] note the similarities between young spock in XI and the animated ep "Yesteryear" but i digress...There was one episode of the animated that featured the Kzinti..."The Slaver Weapon"
